A new opportunity to join our Finance team is now available. Your main accountabilities will be to process accounting transactions in a complete, accurate and timely manner as well as perform cash management, treasury and other assigned tasks while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Performs general accounting activities, applying techniques
- and standards to solve unusual issues. Executes accounting analyses and reports as assigned.
- Ensures the production of reports, statement of accounts and reconciliations.
- Conducts investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary.
- Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
- Participates in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.
- Processes accounting transactions including receivables, payables, leases and intercompany, ensuring accurate tracking to completion.
- Plans and performs cash management and treasury tasks to ensure efficient cash flows.
- Prepares journal entries, performs accounting reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely reporting. Supports the Finance Manager in reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards, group guidelines and accounting principles.
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders on known issues and to take open issues to completion to ensure internal and external customers’ satisfaction.

Your background
- Accountancy experience, qualification or certification. US GAAP and NZ IFRS.
- 3+ years in general ledger accounting and reconciliations, cash management, leases and intercompany transactions with exposure to accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections and cash management.
- Proficient with SAP accounting modules, MS Excel (Intermediate/ Advanced) MS Word and MS Outlook;
- Demonstrated communication, analysis and problem-solving skills.
