We are looking for an experienced Finance Teacher with an interest in international education to teach Finance module for Waikato Institute of Technology (WINTEC) in Guizhou, China.

This role is a fixed term position for 8 weeks from mid November 2019 to early January 2020, teaching in the classroom for about 15 hours per week.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related discipline.

• Have minimum two years’ experience teaching Finance modules.

• Ideally have some experience teaching the following contents:

• Financial management, financial planning and financial control
• Impact of stakeholder demands and agency theory on financial goals
• Basic concepts of working capital management
• Cash, accounts receivable, inventory and accounts payable management
• Capital expenditure
• Capital structure, debt and equity consideration, weighted average cost of capital etc.

- Short- and long-term financing

• Preferably, have some experience in teaching young adults in China or other Asian countries.

• Be a positive, resilient and patient teacher, who has a real passion about education.
