FITCH is looking for an Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the financial operations and accounting for the company.  

 

Job description

• Ensure accurate and compliant monthly revenue recognition
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure billing transactions are made promptly, recorded and reconciled
• Manage collections from clients
• Maintain up to date financial records (AR and UBR)
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed
• Oversee month end
• Prepare financial reports in line with published finance calendar in Cartesis/Sugar CRM
• Liaise with centralised finance function to ensure accurate posting of P&L
• SOX controls, financial reporting, cash flow, forecast and budget.
• Ensure compliance with WPP regulatory requirements and group policies 
• Work closely with WPP SSC and finance in other Opcos.

 

Other job responsibilities

 

Managing financial performance  

• Lead weekly revenue forecast discussion and submit finance data to global on time. 
• Work with Managing Director and Regional CFO to complete forecasts and budgets on time.
• Work with WPP SSC ensure actual closing can be completed on time, numbers are correct.
• Initiate ideas to improve operational efficiency 

 

Commercial management 

• Track AR/UBR closely and work with business team to minimize overdue UBR and AR.
• Help to prepare utilization and realization report and provide analysis if needed
• Support contract reviews and negotiations, especially with regards to payment terms.

 

SOX management 

• Keep fluent communication with business team ensure the daily operation comply with WPP policies and Government regulations.
• Review and approve payment documents

 

What skills are necessary?

• Degree qualified in finance/accounting or similar discipline.
• Qualified Accountant
• Minimum of 6+ years in Accounting and Finance position
• Marcoms agency experience a must
• SOX experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills, leadership and management
• Excellent communication skills English and Mandarin
• Immediately availability is preferred
