We want to keep driving towards the future, so our team is currently seeking a Financial Accountant to provide all Financial Accounting activities for the legal entities accounted for by TU-O-72 

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

•    You will be required to provide timely and accurate periodical submission of IFRS financial statements for actual and planning reporting activities to BMW Group headquarter Group Accounting function.
•    In addition you will prepare and present a comprehensive overview of financial statement performance, comparing actual results with planned values with clear narrative and explanation to senior management. 
•    Preparation, organisation, steering, problem resolution and submission of annual statutory accounts
•    Working closely with external audit engaged firm (currently PwC) to Senior Management level, in support of all reporting processes and successful audit outcomes.   
•    You will be a key project member for the implementation (08/23) of the GFBB (Global Finance Backbone SAP S/4) project, leading the local General Ledger Feature Team.
•    You will have responsibility for decision-making and accounting judgements in relation to relevant financial reporting issues in conjunction with Group Leader/Manager
•    With a continuous improvement mindset, you will review processes to identify issues, inefficiencies and implement and influence changes using all available tools and methods, including digitalisation.
•    There will be a requirement to deputise for Manager, Financial Accounting on occasion 

•    Qualified Accountant (preferably UK professional body: ACA, CIMA, ACCA or comparable)
•    Proven corporate accounting experience
•    Experience of leadership
•    Good skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, IFS
