Siemens are recruiting for a Financial Accountant – permanent position Position Summary The Financial Accountant will be responsible for co-ordination of the Month End closing process liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of reports through the various reporting streams. The person will have full responsibility for the cost & balance sheet controlling and reporting along with providing ongoing partnering & support to cost centre managers. During the month other requirements are to be met by liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting and controlling. This role requires both individual contribution and working as part the Finance team to provide accurate & efficient financial reporting to aid business decision making. Responsibilities Co-ordination for month end consolidated financial statements to ensure timely closing of SAP and subsequent reporting submissions to the head office Cost centre controlling & budget co-ordination responsibility Balance sheet reconciliations Accrual preparation and execution Project & departmental recharges to other group companies Bi-monthly VAT return Submission of quarterly / annual CSO reporting Participate on lean and productivity initiatives/projects Liaising with external and internal auditors Ad-hoc reporting as required Qualifications and Requirements Professional accounting qualification ACCA / CIMA Ability to exceed our internal customer expectations on delivery of information and financial support to achieve business goals Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative Capability to progress ongoing lean initiatives and continuous improvement processes Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to actively participate in team meetings in a structured and efficient manner Advanced Excel skills Experience with SAP an advantage Experience working in a multinational environment an advantage Organization: Controlling and Finance Company: Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Manufacturing Ltd Experience Level: Experienced Professional Job Type: Full-time
