Hierarchical Reporting Line: Head of CFO Shanghai

Main Purpose of the Job:

Ensure alignment/compliance with HO framework/guidelines and other local requirements in MIS controlling area and Tax area.

• Cost allocation/analysis and testing of local MIS module;

• Another half role is to assist in tax management with the implementation of the strategy for managing tax risk, tax planning and tax reporting. Support to gap analysis between tax and accounting.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct deep dive on direct costs/ indirect costs analysis by structure down to team and expenditure item;

• Manage cost annual plan and target, track cost performance and forecast;

• Coordinate with IT department/system vendor to test the automation of cost allocation module of MIS system;

• Cooperate with tax consultant to proceed CIT/VAT filing;

• Responsible for tax registration and tax filling for overseas payment;

• Deal with VAT invoice management and VAT information maintenance in Golden Tax system;

• Coordinate with IT department/VAT software vendor to test the automation of price-tax separation on daily EOD batch;

• Responsible for periodically reports/survey requested by tax bureau;

• Work closely with other areas of the department to provide additional ad hoc report

• Other tasks allocated by the management.

Required Qualification/Expertise:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance or Tax;

• Min. 3 years relevant working experience within Tax with focus on banking industry. Tax Firm working experience is preferable;

• Proficient in MS Excel;

• Strong communication and analytical skills;

• Proficient in both spoken and written in English and Mandarin.

• Strong team spirit and self-motivation, willing to work under pressure.
