Job Description

The CoE Finance Analyst is responsible for value-add financial support to cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of financial and operational goals of our Spares and Service business.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for the in quarter or actual activities for our spares and service divisions 

  • Ensures the accurate and timely recording of revenue-related transactions in accordance with the Company’s revenue recognition policy 

  • Analyzes and tracks revenue and cost streams against budget, prepares reports and trend analysis on a periodic basis and provides narrative and follow up actions to key stakeholders  

  • Tracks labor hour trends to analyze utilization of workforce 

  • Tracks spares consumption against forecast 

  • Analyzes movements in gross margin of customer service contracts and provides explanation of variances to budget and proposes corrective actions if and when needed 

  • Performs the monthly close tasks, including revenue accruals, deferred revenue management, spending reviews, margin reviews, account reconciliations and other duties as necessary 

  • Owns SOX controls in the areas of revenue and cost 

  • Supports internal and external audits and the preparation of the quarterly balance sheet review package 

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities to drive time and cost efficiencies 

  • Support Projects

  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization ranging from line level to senior management  

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbally and in writing) 

  • Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail  

  • Excellent computer skills: SAP, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPoint)  

  • Advanced Knowledge of the English language  

  • Global perspective 

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor or Master in Finance, Business Controlling or Accounting 

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial analysis/Business Controlling position
