Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Reporting & Analysis team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH facility. Position Overview: The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing support to the global corporate functions by gathering, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. It is responsible for partnering with the various corporate functions leadership teams to develop and coordinate profit plans, strategic plans, monthly forecasts, allocations, goals and objectives. This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Functional Reporting & Analysis within the Corporate Controller function. In this function you will: Serve as a liaison to corporate departments involved in accounting transactions. Provide insightful analysis to assist department managers with critical financial decision making. Lend accounting expertise and provide interpretation of accounting policies and forecasting/profit plan guidelines. Analyze global corporate expenses and headcount data and furnish reports to senior management. Identify, research, and provide comments on variances to the previous forecast and to full-year profit plan for corporate departments that are included in the reporting package to senior management. Support the profit planning process and provide guidance on due dates, reporting, analysis, etc. Support the various corporate functional organization in financial matters lending expertise to assist in decision making, assist with profit plan and rolling forecasts. Support the Help Desk and the 600+ global users of RADAR. Manage the day to day activities; includes working with worldwide corporate admin centers to understand budgets and ensure consistent application of forecasting policies and procedures. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution Minimum two (2) years of accounting and/or finance experience This position does not provide sponsorship. Candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Eaton's Beachwood, OH facility to be considered. Preferred qualifications: Experience using Oracle and Longview software Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact effectively and influence employees at all levels within the organization.
