Siemens Commercial Vehicles Business Unit is looking for a Financial Analysis Professional affiliated with our Alpharetta, GA, office - you will have the ability to work a Flexible Remote Work Schedule. The Commercial Vehicle portfolio of solutions includes AC drives, permanent magnet Motors, auxiliary inverters, distribution panel/boxes, high voltage and low voltage wiring systems. Position Overview: The Siemens Commercial Vehicles Business Unit is looking for a multifaceted and motivated Financial Analyst with strong proficiencies in analysis of financial documents, month end close activities, margin/profitability analysis and financial planning/budgeting processes. In this role you will be responsible for providing project management teams with mentorship on project cost controlling and will closely support the financial controller with initiatives like cost improvement, asset optimization and other US programs in place for providing visibility on top line growth for Siemens ELFA propulsion drive systems in Battery and Fuel Cell Bus & Truck applications. Responsibilities: Responsible for cost center controlling Build and maintain monthly project cost review Month end activities including but not limited to margin analysis, journal entries, allocation and balance sheet reviews Standardize HQ and internal monthly reporting Support internal and external audit requests Forecast preparation and reporting to local and HQ management Support cost improvement initiatives Support asset optimization initiatives Partner with cross functional team to maintain and further advance the US programs, improvement in execution and other focus areas Support management with Ad-Hoc analyses proving high quality in limited available time as well as with presentations internally as well as externally Cooperates with all others involved and with interface partners and passing on all relevant information to keep themselves and others advised. Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer. Ensures timely decisions on open issues, escalating if vital. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of proven ability in a similar role Proven understanding of SAP modules including FICO and SD Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Think Cell Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented with the ability to gather, structure, consolidate and analyze large amounts of financial information and develop an overarching view, also in graphical format, that describes the key message for management’s use and colleagues Critical thinking, creative problem solving, and financial modeling skills Excellent organization and social skills Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.
