Position Overview As a member of the Healthcare Enterprise Services (ES) team, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks relating to our long-term customer contracts, both during the bid phase and ongoing operations. You will be responsible for the financial modelling and analysis of offers or bids leading to long-term strategic partnerships. As such, you will be collaborating closely with our bid team during the sales process, and our operations team during the execution phase. Your responsibilities during the bid phase will include financial modelling, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, supporting internal approval processes and contributing to external customer presentations. Your responsibilities outside of the bid phase will include financial planning and reporting activities, budgeting, forecasting and performance controlling to successfully manage our main business KPI’s. This role requires an excellent balance of financial expertise and organization skills, as well as the ability to set schedules and prioritize tasks. https://www.healthcare.siemens.ca/healthcare-company-profile/about Responsibilities · Complete and update complex financial models to create bid calculations · Understand customer requirements and adjust or further develop financial models to meet the individual needs · Complete pricing, cash flow, margin analysis and risk profile to support internal approval process (Levels of Authority) · Ensure integrity of revenue, cost, and cash flow projections · Analyse requests for proposals and coordinate response planning and scheduling with the bid team · Identify and mitigate key project risks based on overall deal construct · Report and communicate on project status to Executive Management team · Perform reporting and controlling activities, e.g. financial planning, forecasting, performance controlling and variance analysis · Support business development activities as assigned · Ad-hoc analysis as assigned Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience · You have an academic degree in Business Administration or related field, and you bring at least 5 years of financial /commercial experience in solution or project business, preferably in the healthcare sector · You have the ability to understand complex project calculations and financial models · You are able to translate customer challenges into business potential, identify main cost drivers and support mitigation strategies · You have experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance controlling, preferably in solution or project business · You possess advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
