We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst – IT Finance, to join our IT Finance Center of Excellence. This role will be based out of our location in Beachwood, OH. The Financial Analyst – IT Finance will be the primary global financial liaison for Global IT budget owners for three centers of excellence. This includes preparing / analyzing global financial data for actual results, forecasts, profit plans and ad-hoc reporting specific IT disciplines SLT, the Director of IT Finance and the CIO. This role provides budgetary oversight to assist the budget owner(s) and SLT in meeting global financial targets. Ensures expenses and financial transactions are accurately accounted for and properly approved, as well as recorded in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Eaton financial policies. MAIN FUNCTIONS: Completes all global month-end close activities on-time and accurately. Such activities include, but are not limited to reconciliations, journal entries, global variance reporting, Intercompany Payables/Receivables reconciliations and required communication with other accounting groups. Ensures that all financial transactions (invoices, accruals, etc.) are properly authorized and recorded in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Tax Guidance and Eaton Financial Policy. In addition, responsible for the completion of all IT account reconciliations and ensuring that they are compliant with GAAP and EAE standards Finalizes global monthly rolling forecasts in the financial reporting systems, meeting all required deadlines in the system and responsible for the global analysis and commentary of monthly and quarterly variances to plan and forecast for multiple global COEs Responsible for the profit plan cycle within the financial system, meeting all required deadlines and reviews and responsible for preparing and analyzing the annual profit plan in collaboration with various IT Senior Leaders as well as the Director of Finance and CIO. Responsible for coordinating with all the regions on the completion of the global Headcount reconciliation Analyzing and interpreting global IT financial results to develop recommendations for senior leadership of specific centers of excellence for key business drivers. Partnering with all global centers of excellence as well as the Businesses to build and submit Capital Appropriation Requests for capital spend Provides IT Senior Leaders ad hoc requests and answering day-to-day questions and follow-up. Driving efficiency and process improvement within global finance processes by continually challenging the processes in place. Qualifications Basic (Minimum) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and/or Finance Systems roles No relocation benefit is provided for this role. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle, Longview, Excel Knowledge of worldwide corporate functions, processes and structure Strong aptitude for an interest in information technology/system knowledge and knowledge of Eaton’s financial systems Ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of technology and manufacturing processes Requires good networking capability and a proven ability to work with senior executives High standard of customer service/support Ability to observe, evaluate, summarize, and communicate highly complex issues and make decisions based on those observations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact effectively and influence employees at all levels within the organization Ability to prioritize and multi-task to resolve issues Sense of urgency and focus on accuracy and integrity General system knowledge of ENCORE system knowledge (Khalix software) Demonstrated leadership skills Ability to work with employees of diverse cultures.
