What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
Level of Authority (LOA) process coordinator. Handles LOA and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes for the Region Americas (RAM) Ensures compliance to policies and procedures. Performs complex financial analyses, prepares related presentations, and presents results including compilation and review of financial plans and budgets, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures and estimated income and expenses
In addition, the Financial Analyst position will be responsible for financial and business data analytics. This position provides a unique opportunity to proactively engage in multiple areas of focus – solutions, service, and energy efficiencies. Through collaboration, analysis and communication, this position will contribute to meaningful business decisions.
Financial Analysis: Assist in preparation of annual budget, forecast, and analyze actual results to those plans and prior performance. Assist in monthly, yearly, and quarterly close activities, including the preparation of financial reports. Analyze and provide support into on-going productivity programs to drive improved performance.
Data Analysis: Create financial models to provide insightful analysis for enhanced decision-making capabilities. Summarize data into easily understood or user-friendly performance dashboards. Partner with cross functional management teams to develop/deploy modeling, data collection innovative visualizations tools, and dashboards to streamline business processes and enable data driven decision making. Update and improve existing reports/dashboards.
Knowledge, Skills and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- 5-8 years of professional experience in a Financial Analyst or Data Analyst or Operational Analyst role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
- Experience in Business Intelligence using Tableau, Microsoft BI, Qlik, Alteryx
- Data Analytics - experience working with large data sets and ability to tell a story with data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
