We are seeking a Financial Analyst for our growing finance team. About the Role As a Financial Analyst at Building Robotics Inc (BRI), you will have the opportunity to be a key player in the growth of the FP&A function for a SaaS business. Your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. You will support strategic, annual, and monthly operating planning for the entire company. While working with different areas of our business from Product to GTM to our parent company, Siemens, you’ll become intimate with our business vision and practices. The ideal candidate for the role has 1-3 years of Finance experience. We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has an excellent attention to detail and the ability to work cross functionally across various departments and organization types. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is interested in high growth, working across an entire organization, and owning processes. About You You enjoy work that keeps you actively engaged and requires a high degree of accuracy. You have worked with planning software, data analytics and visualization tools. You have independently owned reports and processes and know both how to find solutions on your own and when to escalate. You enjoy storytelling through the power of numbers and understand how to use it effectively to drive decision making. The idea of building something from scratch excites you and you’re not afraid of a challenge. You enjoy collaborating with others and know how to ask the right questions to figure out what challenges really need to be addressed. You have a growth mindset and are often the one asking about what’s next and already thinking about how you can help the business get there. You enjoy working in a dynamic workplace that allows you to take on a variety of different tasks. You have strong communication skills and can communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial business partners. What You Will Be Doing Prepare monthly reporting packages for various global stakeholders Update executive dashboards for financial and operational KPIs Create new reports and dashboards based on growing needs of business Provide ongoing support to leaders across various departments to develop rolling forecasts and annual budgets- including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow Work with operational leads to further develop financial operations support, including cloud cost controlling Analyze and seek to understand differences between actuals, budget, and forecast Perform ad-hoc analysis for executives as needed Required Skills 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Finance Prior experience in managing budgets, cost center reporting, and forecasting Strong communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to work well across functions and internal organization, including internationally Excellent Excel skills Knowledge and/or experience in SaaS business models Knowledge and/or experience in Product business incl. SCM Experience with Data Science and Analytics Software (KNIME, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus Experience with Planning Software (e.g. Anaplan, Planful) is a plus This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
