What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure: This position can be located anywhere in the US near a major airport with flexibility to work from home! At Smart Infrastructure Regional Solutions and Services – Americas (SI RSS RAM), we are looking for an ambitious professional to join the Performance Controlling team as a Financial Analyst within the Planning & Reporting team. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Field organization as well as acting a liaison between the Performance Controlling team and the Field organization. This role is responsible for the consolidation of the Field organization monthly forecast (Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Free Cash Flow) and annual Budget. In addition, he/she will be driving the deviations analysis and drivers. The Financial Analyst must possess strong analytical and inter-personal skills as this position will communicate with multiple levels of management and controlling as well as having multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities • Responsible for consolidation of monthly Forecast and annual Budget of the Field organization along with maintaining the Forecast Master File • Review monthly Forecast submittal from individual Zones with Field Management including attendance to the Monthly Review Calls with individual Zones • Responsible for the consolidation of overall Field OPEX Forecast (including OPEX Review with Field Management and functional owners) • Perform monthly OPEX/Absorption review calls with Field Management • Perform deviation analysis including main drivers for monthly commentary (volume related) • Lead Hyperion Forecast Field process and coordinate with all Field organization to ensure that the Forecast is submitted accurately and on time. • Submission of monthly Forecast for the Field in Hyperion (including maintaining current FC) • Drive digitalization and automation of controlling, reporting and planning process and tools within area of expertise. • Ensure data accuracy and that closing deadlines are met. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • 5+ years of demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. • Extensive experience with SAP and Hyperion Essbase. • Desire to be an active participant in a successful team. • Detail oriented, but able to synthesize complex topics for consumption by both executive management and colleagues. • Ability to optimally manage deadlines, multiple stakeholders, prioritize and multi-task. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced multi-cultural business environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Experience with KNIME, Tableau and ESPRIT is a plus. • Ability and willingness to drive process improvements within the organization.
