As Finance Brand Manager AbbVie Netherlands, you are the hands-on Finance Professional of the Oncology and Specialty Care Portfolios. In this role you support two Commercial Directors and multiple Business Unit Managers Your role at AbbVie You will be responsible for Business Finance of the Oncology and Specialty Care Portfolios in the Netherlands and will be based at AbbVie’s office in Hoofddorp. As Finance Brand Manager, your task is to act as the “CFO” for the Specialty care and Oncology franchises and partner with the Specialty Care and Oncology Commercial Directors to achieve the brand ambitions and ultimately serve our patients. Responsibilities: Provide commercial challenge and reasoning for the portfolio strategy and decision making to ensure resources are deployed, and actions taken, in a way which maximizes benefit for AbbVie and our stakeholders In conjunction with Commercial Directors and Business Unit Managers, develop Sales and Expense planning benchmarks and forecasts Share the story behind reports with Commercial Directors and their teams, validating the logic of assumptions, challenging them where needed and ensure alignment with Region and Area counterparts Prepare commercial models and ensure data integrity in all planning cycles You manage brand P&Ls and maintain an overview of budget and spending, providing financial and commercial input to support the maximization of investment opportunities Support and educate commercial departments in managing budgets and targets and encourage ownership Investigate opportunities and risks and present to Commercial director and their teams Identify important external developments and trends within the relevant field Show thought leadership on business finance topics within the broader AbbVie finance community and leverages upon maturity to drive the Abbvie finance culture We encourage hybrid working, where you work at least three days a week in the office. More specifically, we ask the following of you: Master Degree in Finance 8-10 years working experience in Finance roles in a similar industry, such as: Financial Planning, analysis, consolidation Financial audit Business partnering and project management Proven experience with financial modeling: translating business cases and scenarios into financial modeling, top to bottom P&L line Track record of using initiative, drive and questioning to improve the performance of professional teams Ability to translate complex market dynamics into simple story and clear executive explanation for upper management Willingness to learn new concepts and ways of working (growth mindset) Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Power BI What we offer Our initiatives and conditions contribute to the Great Place to Work label awarded to AbbVie.
