Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Develop and implement and organization's financial goals. Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
o Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
o Train the Finance Department and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
o Work with the Managing Director on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating client relations as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
o Supervise cash management activities.
o Execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion.
o Act as financial gatekeeper.
o Supervise the preparation of the annual budget.
o Monitor and control accounts receivables.
o Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.
o Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
o Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis.
o Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.
o Improve profitability. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
o Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
o Review prior financial results and discusses anticipated changes to highlight future needs and trends.
o Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable state laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
o Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual and budget results.
o Approve monthly bank reconciliations.
o Prepare quarterly and annual reports.
o Prepare summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.
o Participate in implementation and operation of accounting and financial management system.
o Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required knowledge, skills and competencies:

o Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial management with the right balance of strategic vision and hands-on experience.
o Exhibiting strong strategic, analytical and planning skills - a track record of good judgment and prudent risk taking.
o Strong leadership and team building qualities – ability to guide, direct, or influence people; active listening, providing feedback, be accountable and transparent and earning credibility by role modeling – leading by examples.
o Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
o Knowledge of finance, financial regulations, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
o Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management.
o Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, often having to work with various departments to help them plan and manage their own budgets.
o Good commercial and business awareness.

o Good knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
o ERP / MRP experience a great benefit
o Advanced level of MS Office

o English – fluent level required for daily written and verbal communication
