The Opportunity

Work Your Way as a Full Time Financial Controller at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth!

  • Lead the finance team of the heritage listed Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a 436 room hotel, home to the premier conference & events facilities in Sydney CBD
  • Responsible for working with the business to understand all financial requirements, find positive outcomes & assist in maximizing margins
  • Actively promote and inspire a Heartist culture across the property while working with towards exceeding targets, & adhering to deadlines
  • Teach, coach and mentor hotel leaders and finance team to create a whole hotel approach to financial performance management
  • Support the Director of Finance and General Manager in the upcoming refurbishment project

 

Your Experience and Skills Include: 

  • Previous experience in a similar sized property with a proven ability in managing F&B performance
  • Ability to balance the financial compliance responsibilities of the property & the delivery of superior guest experience
  • Solutions orientated with a collaborative approach
  • Keen eye for detail, managing the key cost drivers through analysis, to maximise margins and performance
  • Experience with SunSystems, Purchase Plus, Opera PMS & Wage Easy will be valuable
