The position is of increased financial responsibility and allows to interact with multiple layers of the organization, including international team members. This position supports Siemens Healthineers NAM D&A business from a Finance perspective for Products and Services transactions. Drive profitable growth through analysis and engagement with both operational, sales and service teams. Responsible for full integrity of books and records for D&A. Manage the forecast, planning, and closing processes and support D&A Management with financial analysis and identification of opportunities to achieve aggressive business targets. This position is a Financial Management position reporting into the Head of DI Finance, with 3 direct reports, with a strong partnership to the Head of NAM D&A organization. This position will interact with many layers of the organization including international team members. The Financial Controller will have 3 direct reports and will be responsible for the below for both products and services: · Project controlling and related financial analysis highlighting variances between actuals, forecast and budget · Prepare margin analysis and review deals for escalation and approvals · Ensure proper books and records · Support quarterly price book release and any updates · Manage equipment backlog and coordinate with project managers and colleagues from different departments on project status to allow for revenue recognition · Month end closing activities (TECO projects, IR/GR, settlements, post good issues, revenue/cost allocations for enterprise project, IFRS15 reconciliation and Zuora to SAP validation) · Analyze project elements related to education and training · JV entries and PO management · Provide commentaries for revenue, gross profit and balance sheet accounts · Prepare monthly reports and executive summaries · Create and release WBS elements · Work with internal stakeholders on resolving A/R disputes · Inventory reserves and unbilled A/R reconciliation · Internal and external audit requests, including tax (BEAT) submissions · Resolve operational issues, as and when required, with pricing administration, central quotes desk, logistics, sales administration, accounting and field offices · You will be working with SAP P40, SAP Business Objects, Jedox, Power BI, Qlik, Zuora and RevPro · Business reviews with HQ for both Product and Service. · Regular reviews with Service Product Manager to assess backlog, probability of renewals/extensions, confirmation of potential cancellations. · Analyze End of Servicr systems and ability (if any) to upgrade systems to extend life · Buyout Calculations & assess contract buyouts including review of terms and conditions and remaining life of contracts This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers · You are dedicated, have attention to detail, and have a propensity towards quality and continuous improvement · You have experience with Software business · Outstanding analytical, communication and organizational skills · You have advanced skills with MS Excel and PowerPoint · Experience with digital tools and dashboards preferred · You have good communication skills and enjoy collaboration and teamwork Required skills to have for the success of this role · BS/BA in Finance or Accounting, Business Administration or applicable degree - Advanced Degree Preferred · 10 plus years of Finance/Business Administration experience with 5-7 years in a leadership role and current knowledge of IFRS/GAAP. · Healthcare business experience a plus · Knowledge of systems and accounting required. · Strong analytical skills and understanding of strategic business goals. · Demonstrated ability to form relationships and collaborate across global matrixed functions.
