Finance Controller – Trainee Siemens Mobility provides integrated mobility solutions for urban, interurban and logistics transport. For the efficient transportation of passengers and goods, we combine specialization in automation and electrification by rail, rail vehicles, turnkey systems, consulting, and consumer services. What are my responsibilities? To support our Performance Controller Head in Lisbon we are looking for a Trainee to integrate the controlling team; Execution of internal processes with regards to the financial management of Siemens Mobility Portugal’s support functions; Cooperation with the remaining controlling teams within the structure in several of our daily operations; Execution of regular support activities such as cost controlling, cost allocations, postings, and internal billing; Preparation of reports and support to Budget and Forecasts. What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting - or other similar area; Fluent Portuguese and English – written and spoken; Solid MS Office knowledge, especially Excel (advanced); Good analytical skills, rigor and attention to detail; Professional ethics, responsibility and problem-solving mindset; Proactivity, priority management and organization; Very good interpersonal skills, of which the ability to communicate with different partners and work as team. What else do I need to know? The Performance Controlling department is a strategic piece of the Mobility Portugal’s business structure. Our main goal is to control effectively all the Support Functions in our structure whilst supporting the CFO on the management of the remaining Business Units. Our finance tasks include: 1) Cost controlling of Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Environmental Health and Safety and Internal Audit; 2) Budget and Forecast; 3) Proper allocation of costs transversal to the whole structure: cars, fuel, insurance, etc. We offer the possibility to integrate a young, dynamic and very multicultural team and to grow within one of the most solid multinational companies operating in the market!
