Business Summary:
Responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning, reporting and cost control. Performs variance analysis, budgeting, modeling and forecasting. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc. May perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate, prepare, and analyze quarterly and monthly forecasts, headcount dashboard, and other ad hoc analysis to support business decisions
- Manage your business unit’s monthly close process
- Work directly with cost center managers to understand actuals, identify trends, and assess opportunities to influence cost
- Drive continuous process improvement in financial analysis and cost reduction efforts
- Proactively seek opportunities for continued process improvement and job efficiency
- Support and ensure financial and operational compliance with all business supporting entities related accounting close activities
- Analysis the actual cost, find the opportunities to improve the financial performance
- Participate in the site cost saving project, work with operation team to ensure the progress to meet committed cost saving goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master degree major in Finance or accounting
- 3+ cost accounting or financial planning related years’ experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
- Familiar with MNC work mode, foreign company experience is preferred
- Familiar with both US and PRC GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, fluent English
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management across a broad range of functional disciplines, internally and externally
- Team player. Ability to work effectively across functional, geographical, and cultural boundaries
- Outstanding analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Excel and SAP
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail, strong initiative to drive results
- Natural curiosity and detail oriented: ask what if/what else, use 5-why approach to investigate details
- Influencing and promoting collaboration beyond organizational boundaries
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Finance, Operations or Accounting
- XX years’ experience finance, operations or accounting
- Systems knowledge/skills including: Excel, SAP & SharePoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and initiative
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization
- Outstanding analytical skills, critical and creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, detail orientated
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
