Job responsibilities:

• Review the external reports and filings including annual report, interim report, financial statements and quarterly announcements;
• Review the corporate level accounting transactions such as share based payment and other transactions in Group level as well as allocations, as part of the monthly close process;
• Review the reconciliation of various accounts balance, including but not limited to, share based payments and earnings per share in Group level;
• Review the monthly consolidation and cashflow of the Group, including the elimination and other consolidation entries as well as the related relevant disclosures schedules of the Group;
• Review consolidation entries, where applicable, for GAAP adjustments and other reporting requirements, including deferred taxations, impairments and others;
• Monitor the connected/related party transactions to ensure compliance with relevant exchange requirements and contractual terms;
• Monitor the Group Chart of Accounts, Accounting Policies and other closing schedules for the statutory audits;
• Liaise with the External Auditor on their audit and review procedures, Legal Department and Printer for all external reports and announcements filed with Hong Kong Stock Exchange;
• Liaise with US Corporate Finance on all aspect of financial and accounting issues and updates as well as other requests and filings;
• Research and assessment of accounting standards and regulations for complex accounting issues and transactions, coordinate the discussion or appointment of subject matter expert, when and where necessary;
• Oversee maintenance of clear and detailed SOX documentation, including narratives/process diagrams, and risk and control matrices;
• Assist with risk management ad hoc projects and prepare responses to various requests for information;
• Responsible for the various annual corporate tax preparation and filings within the Group.

Job requirements:

• over 6 years working experience in the field of financial reporting or accounting with at least 2 years of financial reporting experience
• Experience in Taxation, SOX compliance and Hong Kong Listing rules are an advantage. Trained or with experience in Big 4 is an advantage

• Bachelor Degree of a relevant professional institution, with CPA qualification is an advantage

• Possess g ood command of written and conversational English and Chinese

• Good in Microsoft applications, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
