Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position and you will be working in the APJ Sales and Marketing Organization in Australia, which is part of Intel's Sales and Marketing Group.

We are looking to recruit an energetic and experienced Account Executive (AE) to join a dynamic and high performing diverse team of dedicated sales professionals and experienced technical account managers.

The AE is responsible for:

  • Influencing and advocating Intel-based products and solutions for all of Intel's Business Units through a consultative, solutions-led approach.
  • Ensuring that all business, technical and architectural needs of our covered accounts are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business unit teams, and our partners - including CSPs, ISVs, OEMs and SIs - to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve customer business problems and create significant pull for Intel's products and solutions.
  • In order to successfully influence architectural decisions, the AE needs to build relationships with key account stakeholders and ecosystem partners and become a trusted technology advisor to them.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and coordinating support from ecosystem partners and Intel Business Units to win strategic sales opportunities, managing multiple engagements from pre-sales inception through proof-of-concept and final deployment.
  • The AE will be an Account Executive for specific accounts in the Financial Services sector across Australia and New Zealand.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will be expected to have a proven track record in Industry Sales, Partner and End-customer sales as well as managing activities to drive customer alignment with corporate strategies along with the following skills and experience:-

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent, a Master's Degree will be an advantage
  • 7+ years of experience (or equivalent) and knowledge working with enterprise companies influencing technology. Past work and understanding of FSI customers will be an advantage.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures and solutions in an enterprise IT environment, including analytics/AI and edge computing
  • Strong communication, marketing and executive relationship management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills/experience representing Intel in front of external audiences
  • Track record of success applying a consultative selling approach to understand customer challenges with the ability to envision and deliver next-generation technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Experience in developing new businesses and business models within strategic accounts/partners and integrating across the full ecosystem.
  • Understanding of the sales pipeline with all variables and interdependencies.
  • Ability to think strategically and inspire internal and external stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a good sense of humor and a strong commitment to personal learning and development

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
