My client is a well known multinational company with leading position in their niche market. They have established a new Joint-Venture with the Chinese industry Giant. As a result they are now recruiting for a financial controller to join.

As the financial controller, your responsibilities include:

1. Build up finance department, set up accounts book, implement accounting system and other back office systems, design financial processes, information flow and internal control, ensure the team and activities are organised well to support the construction and operation.

2. Responsible for daily operation and monthly closing, ensure compliance with PRC GAAP and statutory requirement, deliver financial statements timely in high quality, and meet internal and external deadlines.

3. Good understanding of IFRS, prepare GAAP analysis and IFRS reports for management review.

4. Responsible for tax operation, treasury activities, internal control and auditing.

To qualify for this position, you need to possess:

• Bachelor or above degree in finance related major.

• Above 5 years finance working experience with full responsibilities in finance, accounting, tax etc.

• Good understandings on PRC GAAP and IFRS.

• We highly prefer the candidate have the knowledge of supply-chain finance, logistics, and orders.

• Great communication skills in both English and Chinese, can work under pressure.
