DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Put up at least two exhibitions every year and assisting in the common exhibitions end-of-the-year art fair
• Actively initiate and participate in inviting artists and conducting workshops
• Initiate students to art history and art analysis through slide shows and discussions
• Maintain and update existing curriculum maps so they are in alignment with the International Baccalaureate’s Programme
• Supervise study halls and student social activities during evenings and weekends
• Positively contribute to departmental work such as policies, common assessments, instructional practices, grading practices, etc.
• Organize and run at least one extra - curricular enrichment activity

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Excellent drawing skills, especially in observation drawings (still life, portraits and
landscape)
• Good technical skills in at least two different mediums (painting, sculpture, computer graphics and/or design)
• Ability to work with unconventional materials
• Putting up exhibitions and active participation in all the other art activities
• Good knowledge of elements and principles of art

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• A Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate discipline
• Experience of teaching with the International Baccalaureate Program
• Minimum of one years of teaching experience at DP.
• Fluency and accuracy in written and spoken English
• Good awareness of art history and local culture
• At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject areas
• Computer skills at a level that permits the creative and effective use of technology in the classroom
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team, preferably involving both national and international staff
