Day to Day Responsibilities: Contract manufacturing 3D forming process lead Lead contract manufacturing technical activities and yield improvement New product qualification and migration to mass production Work with QA to define/improve key attributes for quality of customer Provide leadership in forming problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term equipment issues, and higher level troubleshooting Provide direction to other technicians, coaches junior engineers, and provides guidance to maintenance personnel Provide general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understand theories and fundamentals), capable of leading projects and get to root cause of issues, and put permanent solutions in place Recommend and implement permanent solutions to long term performance issues, and improve existing as well as new technologies Develop and lead areas of the manufacturing and/or technical roadmap Identify, justify, and implement cost reduction, capacity enhancement, capital equipment and other improvement initiatives. Introduce new products and technologies Meet Environmental, Safety and Health requirements related to equipment or process Develop SME knowledge of 3D forming mold, material, process and/or equipment in focused areas of manufacturing or engineering. Design and/or specify new equipment or modify existing equipment to continuously improve process performance. Coordinate installation, debugging and initial operation of new equipment and systems Travel: >80% in China finisher with different locations. Education & Experience: BS or Higher; Mechanical, Material, Chemical Engineering or related science or engineering background. Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of industrial experience Familiar 3D forming process ,thermal modeling and simulation Able to communicate in English and TOEIC sore 650 is a plus Familiar with 6-Sigma (DMAIC) / Lean, MEE, and DOE. Green Belt or PMP certification Deep understanding production, quality/logistics coordination. Experience to work with cross functional departments of QA, AE/PE, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences Exposure to contract manufacturing Knowledge of Innovation Stage-gate processes Optional Skills & Experience: Project experience with Contract manufacturer is a plus.
