Department Introduction

Silicon Simulation Engineering group will create good SoC model to help the firmware development and validate the firmware.

A good SoC model could speed up the firmware development before the SoC is ready. And it could help to validate the full paths of firmware by creating conditions, covering corner case and injecting erroring.

Responsibility

Design and develop SoC model at register level.

Work with designers to debug, understand and document models.

Provide technical documentation, descriptions and information to Firmware Development Engineers, Test Engineers and customers.

Write and maintain software used to automate bench testing.

Generate professional validation reports of firmware validation.

Make sure the firmware is full validated and stable on both simulator and SoC

Qualifications

C/C++ is necessary skills. Python is a plus.

Understand how hardware works, such as ARM core, PCIe, NVMe and NAND.

Device driver development background is a plus.

QEMU and SIMICS is a big plus.
