HAECO ITM Limited is a joint venture between HAECO (Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd) and Cathay Pacific, providing inventory technical management services to different airline customers in Hong Kong and around the world. Customers anticipate to benefit saving from the ITM services through synergy of component pooling, sound technical know-how of component engineering, repair and supplier management.

HXITM is now looking for candidates who are interested in this business for the position of Fleet Watch Engineer.

Scope of Duties:

• Follow up A/C using real-time monitoring platform
  - Review alerts generated by the health monitoring platform
  - Filter out findings related to HAECO ITM managed components
• Collect A/C data
  - Provide A/C data (PFR, TSD, ..) to component engineer, for parts identified as potential rogue unit, potential NFF, MOR, …
• Define and Assess predictive models
  - Define predictive models and thresholds based on historical data
  - Review predictive maintenance recommendations and define a process to evaluate efficiency and to update the model
• Prevent un-necessary removals
  - Gather all components with high probability of NFF related to the troubleshooting on aircraft.
  - Upon fault message triggered, review if specific troubleshooting procedure shall be recommended to avoid un-necessary removal, and inform line maintenance accordingly
• Process Definition
  - Define the process, duties and interfaces with other teams
• Continuous improvement
  - Identify opportunities of cost savings thanks to real-time monitoring
  - Propose new A/C system dashboards, to improve efficiency

Requirements:

• A recognized Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical Engineering is an advantage)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft engineering
• Knowledge in aircraft systems and/or components
• Comfortable with Fault Management System, A/C Health monitoring and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical skills, familiar with data science, data analytics. IT skills is a plus
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel for business
