Job Description
Siemens Mobility is looking for a Fleet maintenance operational coordinator, to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Milan. The chosen one will be in charge of the coordinating activities of the locomotives running in Italy (planning, booking, execution, return to operation). They will support the fleet maintenance manager in coordinating and planning maintenance activities in the Italian depots. In addition, they will ensure customer satisfaction and guarantee high safety standards and high availability values. This role will involve extensive interaction with maintenance engineering, workshops managers, technicians, procurement, spare part management, logistic and other members of multi-functional teams. Manage and plan maintenances of the assigned fleet Coordinate workshop activities, support the workshop managers when needed Guarantee an accurate and fast communication with the customer A thorough management of internal and external stakeholders as well as of the escalation process if needed KPI evaluation and monitoring Travel to Customer sites when required Who are we looking for? A candidate with the following features: At least 2 years’ experience in the railway context on in similar roles High level technical education or Degree in Engineering; Good English and Italian written and spoken People Management Experience (preferred) Availability to travel for short or medium duration missions at local and international level Excellent result orientation Safety culture aware – to be able to influence and develop an existing culture to the latest generation thinking and practice Supporter of a consistent company wide approach to continuous improvement A facilitator of cross disciplinary Engineering activities in complex and commercially ambitious environments Strong and effective communicator across peer group within the company and customers Pro-active approach to learning, and seeking information from within and outside the company What can we further offer?
