Position Overview Perform general assembly operations on sub-assemblies and final product. Understand the complete scope of assembly operations on station(s). Work under general direction of supervisor. Report defective materials, and any actions or conditions not aligned to department standard processes to department manager Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Responsibilities Fits, aligns, and assembles components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools. Must possess broad knowledge of, and the ability to operate hand tools to include cordless screwdrivers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, hammers, crimping tools, drills, torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers, hand wrenches, ratchets and sockets. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training preferred Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Job Knowledge / Requirements: Good oral and written communication skills, including receiving, understanding and following oral and written instructions, information, procedures and schematics Complete tasks as directed with minimal supervision, with precision and within defined schedule Work both independently and as an effective member of the team Critical success factors include attention to detail, receive and follow instructions and assignments, and meet given priorities and deadlines Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: General manufacturing positions may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication.
