Floral Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a creative, driven Floral Operations Coordinator to join the Fairmont Floral team. In this dynamic position, you will enjoy working with a dedicated team as we strive to provide memorable experiences for our guests and clients. The Floral Operations Coordinator will ensure all Fairmont Floral activations meet Fairmont Scottsdale Princess' AAA Five Diamond standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with a variety of floral tasks including: assembling & delivering floral/balloon/ celebration arrangements, organizing supplies, cleaning & prepping flowers, etc.

  • Demonstrate business acumen by assisting retail leadership team with various accounting & financial duties including: invoicing, pricing, proposals, reporting, etc.

  • Follow approved procedures for ordering, receiving, and storing products. Maintain an awareness of inventory conditions; note any discrepancies in inventory

  • Maintain cleanliness of the design area and floral section of the coolers, storage areas, etc.

  • Maintain clear communication with other departments and ensure all Fairmont Floral SOPs are executed appropriately

  • Capture photos of designs for social media & internal and external marketing promotions

  • Other miscellaneous duties to support Fairmont Floral operations as required

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous resort and/or floral experience required
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle to pick up and/or deliver florals to external clients or vendors 
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Canva, Outlook, Power Point, Point of Sale, and Trello
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic

Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, use arms, hands and fingers, climb or balance, stoop and kneel. The colleague is also required to frequently lift and/or move 50 + lbs.
