The Florist is responsible to assist the Floral Supervisor to prepare and maintain all of the flower arrangements in the complex, i.e. public areas, restaurants as well as guest rooms.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Floral Supervisor in maintaining and preparing all of the flower arrangements in the complex.
• Assist Floral Supervisor in designing floral arrangement.
• Assist Floral Supervisor in ordering seasonal flower and well maintaining them.
• Maintain the flower shop clean and tidy at all times.
• Prepare and delivery flower arrangement to guest rooms, public areas and casino areas.
• To assist in preparing floral arrangements for counter sales orders.
• To water all floral arrangements in the designated area within COD.
• Handle guest or department inquiry and report to Floral Supervisor and/or line manager as required.
• Ensure working environment adhere to the company’s Policy & Procedure.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Floral Manager.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedure.
• Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to supervisors.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time.

Qualifications

Experience

• 1 year experience in a similar capacity in any five-star hotel, casino or commercial florist is preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent professional training
• Education in floral design is desired but not a must.
