How can you help us craft the future as a Warehouse/Inventory Associate? We're looking for a dedicated person with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow by joining our manufacturing team! You will be picking and packing of customer orders! Also involves the receiving of product, movement of freight, stock, supplies and other materials from one area to another, loading and unloading items onto trucks, shelves, or pallets. What are the responsibilities? Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for dealing with all levels of Siemens personnel, customers and business partners. Responsible for planning and scheduling crane activity, delivery and pick-up of inverters and inverter parts for all remote/solar sites, third party warehouses, other Siemens facilities, etc. Responsible for all material handling inside the warehouse and other departments to ensure on time transfers, receipts and delivery of material. Responsible for safe and damage-free movement of material by use of pallet trucks, forklift trucks, turret trucks, cranes, or other material handling equipment. Continuously review tasks performed to identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate work processes in order to ease administration and reduce costs. Ability to diagnose inventory discrepancies and resolve shipping and receiving problems. Investigates inventory discrepancies with a focus in achieving the 100 % accuracy organization’s goal. Has knowledge of material handling work procedures, Bill-of-Material lists, pick lists, quality documentation, and protocols. Working knowledge of functions relating to WMS and other warehouse operations. Using SAP to complete transactions and inventory cycle counts, including serialization and other Responsible for goods received, logistics and shipping to ensure timely stocking and picking. Conducts cycle counts in accordance with procedure. Responsible for accuracy of inventory count and stock movements. Monthly and annual daily cycle counts and annual physical inventory. Responsible for storage density. Ensures that material is properly stored and space utilization is optimized. Maintains storage bins optimized. Cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Must maintain the work area free of debris and eliminates safety hazards. Develop a sanitation schedule and maintain equipment maintenance records files for OSHA compliance. Performs shipping duties of a routine and non-routine nature. Has complete knowledge of shipping work procedures, process flow, and protocols. Coordinates with customers both internal and external to ensure on-time delivery. Ensures compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley policies through document filing practices and pre-audit preparations. On a daily basis, inspect forklifts, powered jacks or other industrial handling equipment. Responsible for the maintenance of the material handling equipment of the warehouse. Keeps maintenance records filed accordingly. Complies with OSHA regulations for General Industry. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Responsible for picking and shipping material accurately. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. What do you need to qualify for this role? HS Diploma or GED 4+ years warehouse, picking, packing, shipping / receiving and operating a forklift. Ability to lift 50 pounds SAP or Warehouse Management Systems Experience & RF Scanner Cycle count and inventory experience.
