Essential Functions
a) Manage all F&B and banquet operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards to include breakfast, banquets, employee programs, retail
b) Lead F&B and banquet team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
c) Comply with all health and safety regulations
d) Maintain on-going inventory for daily services, departmental supplies and equipment
e) Complete quarterly inventories of items as supplied by Controller
f) Schedule staff in an appropriate and efficient manner to maintain highest level of customer service
g) Place all vendor orders and maintain relationships with vendors
h) Supervise and complete as necessary the set-up and refreshing of function rooms to ensure the room adheres to event order specifications
i) Participates in client detail meetings as requested by Sales, and attend weekly BEO meeting with Sales
j) Guest satisfaction review and action planning for improvements

Supervisory Responsibility
Supervises all Food and Beverage and Banquet Staff.
Work Environment
Will work predominantly in indoor settings, however, outdoor settings are possible. Will work alone and with others at different times. Job involves working under variable temperature conditions, under variable noise levels, outdoors/indoors, around fumes and/or odor hazards, around dust and/or mite hazards, around chemicals and around bio-hazards.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based off of business demand. This position does have the ability to flex hours with prior approval of the General Manager.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma
Have or obtain Food Manager card within 30 days of hire from City of Kansas City, MO Health Department
