Food & Beverage Outlet Assistant Manager
for Sapori Deli
The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to be involved in day to day operations of  the Sapori Deli - the Italian deli and restaurant, ensuring that all standard procedures, rules and regulations, the quality of service and sequence of service are highly implemented and emphasized by the colleagues. S/he facilitates all guest needs and expectations in the outlets by providing exceptional service. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the entire operation in the absence of the Manager. S/he will support any activities of the management.

What you will be doing:

• Ensures guests are well looked after, from the moment they arrive to the time they leave
• Enquires whether guests are satisfied throughout the meal.
• Offers attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraint
• Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty
• Promotes the F&B offer under his/her responsibility
• With outlet manager organizes the work for the team, including the need to multi-skill in employees' job requirements
• Ensures information is properly passed on to the team (briefings and debriefings with the kitchen staff etc)
• Ensures the point of sale is prepared to a high standard
• Takes the global level of activity into account when managing the flow of guests, placement at tables and reservations
• Assists the Outlet Manager to check and evaluate the quality and speed of waiter service
• Ensures the equipment used remains in good condition

• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Must be a highly organized person with strong planning skills.
• Analytical skills, strength as a developer and a leader of others are essential.
• International experience an asset
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Goal and results oriented.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
