Mantra Lorne is set on 12 acres of landscaped grounds and boasts 277 accommodation rooms, rolling luscious lawns and is literally a 100m walk to the beach. Onsite facilities include lawn and synthetic tennis courts, croquet court, golf putting greens, indoor pool/spa and steam rooms. Newly refurbished Restaurant, lounge bar and conference facilities are also onsite. Mantra Lorne provides staff accommodation on site and is in prime location to enjoy your downtime, situated in the heart of Lorne it allows for a perfect location to walk to the main street, beach and Lorne foreshore. Mantra Lorne is a very popular tourist destination over summer and needs team oriented individuals who are not afraid of hard work and are dedicated to working throughout the summer period.

 

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who is hungry for career progression and wants to take on the role of Food & Beverage Team Leader on a 6 month seasonal contract. .

 

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will run the front of house operations during busy service periods, as well as working alongside your team and motivating them to deliver results. Your role will assist with rostering, team development & the overall co-ordination of the department.

 

A current RSA is essential, along with a strong understanding of the day to day operations of running a restaurant, passion for sequence of service and a desire to create an amazing experience for each and every customer.

 

Your energy, drive and positive attitude will be contagious to all you work with and you will thrive on contributing to the bigger picture through your natural affinity for leadership.
