Located in the heart of the CBD, this 207-room premium hotel offers an exceptional location, an exciting F&B concept and meeting facilities. The hotel will showcase the best of Aotearoa’ s Culture through our modern- restaurant, conference rooms, cafe and bar. Inspired by the concepts of sustainability and indulgence, hallmarks of this iconic hotel brand.

The soon to be re-branded Mövenpick Hotel is on the lookout for a passionate and motivated customer service superstar to join our team as Food & Beverage Attendant. 

The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, impeccable attention to detail and a great personality to match!

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Offering an exceptional level of customer service in an outstanding environment
• Providing food and beverage recommendations and explanation of our menu to guests and finding solutions to any of their dietary requirements
• Upselling and cross selling menu items
• Liaising with kitchen team to ensure efficient delivery of orders
• Being involved in the set up and delivery of events and conferences on site
• Creating an experience that goes above and beyond the expectations of our guests

Skills and experience

• A warm and friendly personality
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and personal presentation
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not essential
• Barista experience preferred but not essential
• The legal right to work in NZ for a minimum of 12 months
• Flexibility of availability- must be available to work over a 7 day roster and variety of shifts
