Food and Beverage Attendant

Novotel Sydney International Airport is a 271 room hotel, including a 150 seater restaurant, Bar; The Marke Kitchen and Bar; and 11 Conference rooms. We are located along the Cooks River, near the International airport.
We are looking for the right person to join the team, someone who can move with the changing business and grow & develop with us, as the hotel welcomes back our corporate & leisure guests.

The Role
This is your opportunity to join our Food and Beverage team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team you will represent our friendly and professional service philosophy. Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Understanding the food and beverage menu and be able to explain particular products to customers and offer personalised recommendations.
- To seat, present menus, take orders, serve food and beverage to guests according to The Marke Kitchen & Bar sequence and procedures.
- Provide exceptional service to our conference guests and ensure that all functions and events run with smoothly, efficiently and with ease.
- Maximise sales opportunities by upselling items.
- Establishing accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.
- Clear and reset tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
