Food and Beverage Attendant (Part time or Casual)

Sofitel Brisbane Central is looking for the next generation of luxury service professionals. We’ll provide on the job training and you can choose either part time or casual work.

We currently have Food and Beverage Attendant positions in our magnificent main restaurant, Suzette, as well as in our In-Room Dining department.

Success in this role is the ability to learn quickly and the desire to provide phenomenal service to our guests whilst working well with others as an all-rounder and team player. Perfectly suited to those who have a basic level of food and beverage service skills and are eager to learn from on-the job training.

A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, positive attitude, immaculate personal presentation and the ability to say “Bonjour” is a must.  

Food and Beverage Attendant, Suzette Restaurant (Part time or Casual)

In this role you will be providing buffet breakfast service to guests, setting and clearing tables and performing some a la carte service including taking and delivering coffee orders.

Requirements for this position are:

  • Availability to start work at either 530AM or 6AM
  • Availability to work until between 11AM to 3PM
  • Must available on weekends as this is our busiest time
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
  • Basic level of food and beverage service skills including greeting guests, taking orders, cleaning and clearing
  • High level of personal presentation.

Food and Beverage Attendant – In Room Dining (Part time or Casual)

In this role you will receive food and beverage orders from in-house guests over the phone, prepare service trays, collect orders from the kitchen and deliver orders to the guest room.

Requirements for this position are:

  • Availability to work from 3PM to 11PM
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
  • Basic level of food and beverage service skills
  • High level of personal presentation
  • Polite and professional phone manner
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
