The Marke Kitchen & Bar serves modern Australian dishes and an international breakfast buffet. The Bar offers a snack menu and a large screen showing live sports.

The Role
We are looking for a driven Food and Beverage Supervisor who is dedicated to providing a memorable experience and create that human connection with our guests.
In this role you will:
- Provide input on greater Food and Beverage strategies. This is a key development role for future Accor leaders, your input is valued, and your personal development is of priority.
- Lead, mentor and train the Food and Beverage Team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment.
- Ensure that strategies are in place to allow for efficient and effective staffing of the department to achieve financial and service quality targets.
- Ensure that Team Members are briefed on all specials and standard menu items.
- Assist in recruitment and induction of new Team Members.
What we are looking for
If this role interests you and you can demonstrate that you have:
- A true desire to work with people and create human connections, with proven experience as a F&B Supervisor, and are looking to work in a larger operation, or a Team Leader ready for their next step.
- An ability to ask the right questions and listen intently to gather enough information to solve problems, resolve complaints and create those Heartist Moments
- A professional appearance and demeanour that will represent our brand well
- Have a curious mindset to be able to spot tiny frustrations, seemingly insignificant needs, and the times that service could be even better for our guests
- Conference and/or banqueting experience desirable
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Someone who can lead by example, is hands on and can instill a sense of fun in the workplace.
- Hold a valid RSA – essential.
