Job Description
Westlake University is a new type of non-profit research-oriented university supported by public and private funding. The School is dedicated to cultivating future leaders in biomedical research, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary training in biology, chemistry, medicine, and engineering.

The administrative office of the School plays a key role in the administrative system of the university by liaising between the various departments and our school members, including students, faculties, and staff. With the culture of “academic needs determine administration, and administration serves educational and research purposes”, the School administrative team always strive to deliver professional and efficient service to all school members. We are seeking promising international talents with solid general experience in administration to join our team. We want our team members to feel empowered and have opportunities to grow and develop their potential in our community. 



Job Responsibilities:

1. English document drafting, translation, and proofreading;

2. Producing English promotional materials for the School website, WeChat and other media platforms;

3. Providing administrative support for conferences, webinars and various seminars hosted by the School of Life Sciences;

4. Providing administrative support for expats in the School, organizing events to advance internationalization and build up a friendly, inclusive campus and school culture;

5. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Commitment to Westlake University’s mission and values;

2. Full-time bachelor’s degree or higher, candidate with a scientific background is preferred;

3. Excellent command of both English and Chinese, especially strong oral and written communication skills;

4. Ability to work in a team environment;

5. Enjoy working in a multicultural work environment;

6. Competency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.

Compensation and Benefit:

Westlake University offers an internationally competitive compensation package, which will be determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
