What isthe basic information about the job?

• Teaching English at an English training school in a small and rapidly growing city near Beijing(Bazhou).
• Age range of students: 3 – 15
• Class sizes: 8 - 10
• 5 working days per week (minimum 40 hours)
• 2 full free days per week

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering fun English classes with the help of an assistant teacher.
• Helping to plan and produce videos on time for our ‘flipped classroom’ methodology (no prior knowledge of video production necessary).

Non-negotiable requirements:
1. Native English speaker (You must be a British, American, Australian, Canadian, South African or New Zealand passport holder).
2. Bachelor's degree orhigher

A successful candidate:

• Is creative, loves teaching and is willing to be a bit silly at times.
• Can create a warm and exciting classroom atmosphere and bond with students.
• Is willing to sing, dance and use lots of body language in class.
• Is patient with students.
• Is willing to work with colleagues.
• Must be resilient to life in a whole new country.

Desirable yet not necessary characteristics:

• TEFL 120 hours minimum(we can help you to achieve this)
• Teaching Experience
• Can play a musical instrument
• Experience living/travelling in East Asian countries
