Weekend Fork Lift Operator (32 hours per week)  

Castle Cary, Somerset

Salary: £19,000 - £29,000 pro-rata including shift allowance + benefits including bonus, excellent pension scheme and healthcare.

Are you an experienced Warehouse associate who has operated an FLT? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a FLT Operator to come and join our team in Castle Cary on a 32 hour contract covering the weekend shift and 8 hours during the week (We are flexible with contracted hours so if you would like to work more we can accomodate) The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring the supply of required materials into the factory, packing, loading and unloading trucks, storing finished goods in the warehouse and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

FLT Operator main duties:

• As the FLT Operator you will ensure packing lines have the correct materials to run and pallets are processed to warehouse quickly and effectively 

• Unload finished products / bags / Big Bags from trucks and perform quality / quantity controls 

• Documental register or input and output goods  

• Ensure correct stock management using scanners and warehouse systems 

FLT Operator required skills/experience:

• Strong work ethic and flexible style, comfortable with weekend shifts. 

• Educated to GCSE level

• Experience working in a Warehouse type environment  

• FLT / Counterbalance / Reach License (will consider out of date licenses or FLT experience as we train in-house)

• Written and Spoken English (Excellent communication & interpersonal skills)
