Eaton’s Electrical Power Systems division is currently seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler – 2nd Shift to join our team! The hourly rate for this role starts at $18.70/hr + $1.25/hr shift premium, depending on experience. This position is based at our Badger Drive facility in Waukesha, WI, and will support our Coil Winding Department. The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding. *Bonus terms: • Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1st, 2023 to qualify. • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply. • Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. • Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment. Perform a variety of direct and indirect tasks to optimize product flow and maximize the productivity of the coil winders. Collect and distribute wire, insulating paper, leads, and other necessary materials needed to wind coil orders. Verify that issued materials are the proper size/part number and check for damage and proper quantity. Return all unused materials to their designated locations ensuring that materials are properly marked so that inventory accuracy is maintained. Operate paper sheet machine to cut insulating paper to specified length sheets. Set up and operates the paper slitting machine which cuts rolls of paper for coil winding operation. Operate several machines for sizing, cutting and drilling materials used in the winding process. Assembles kits for coil orders and fills bins of stock coil materials. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Previous manufacturing experience. Previous experience driving forklift trucks. Position Success Criteria: Ability to work overtime when required.
