Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Job descriptions: • Recommend process improvements for quality, OEE, or cost improvement • Provides day-to-day problem-solving support production and development • Plant hot /cold repair, HCM as a team member / leader • Trains operators and trades personnel on new equipment and processes • Trouble shoots process and equipment issues, identifies root cause and implements corrective action • Support plant side process development and optimization efforts • Assure quality and repeatability of processes and products • Co-work with Division/Development team with new technology migration through equipment installation, process optimization and documentations • Supports new product introductions through equipment installation, process certification, documentation and training • Assures safety of operators and equipment and Complies with safety and environmental regulations • Executes cost reduction and improvement (DMAIC) projects in line with business objectives • Travel Requirements: < 30% domestic and international
