Responsibility:

Formulation development specialist or related engineer with in-depth understanding and experiences of scientific and engineering knowledge in polymer structure property relationships, polymer filler interaction, adhesion and interface phenomena, rheological property control, cross-linking, polymer and intermediates modification, formulation process technology, decomposition and depolymerization under various environmental conditions, and failure mode analysis under differing conditions including computer based simulation capabilities

Person with in-depth understanding of elastic, elasto-plastic and resinous silicon-containing polymer composite formulation science and technology with focus liquid silicone rubber, room temperature cure silicone rubber and their raw materials such as filler, additives etc., in China.

Has communication capability with both application development and technology platform scientist and engineer for identification and reflection of scientific and engineering needs.

Person with relevant industrial experiences however open to bilingual (English and Chinese) fresh PhD seeking for a job in China with aspiration to become a specialist career path, not managerial or leadership role

Not confined to organosilicon or relevant silicon-containing polymer scientists. Open to people with majors in all the polymer related disciplines aligned to above mentioned scientific and engineering knowledge, skill and experience

Qualifications Required:

PhD, both recent and post-doc experienced, in silicon-containing, organic, inorganic polymer chemistry, chemical engineering, and polymer engineering focused on electronic, photonic and optoelectronic target applications

Senior PhD with 5 + years of the relevant industrial formulation research and development experiences after the completion of post-doc

Junior PhD with 3+ years of the relevant industrial formulation research and development experiences after the completion of post-doc

No restriction for domestic and international travels

Entry level PhD currently at post-doc stage or PhD candidates expecting graduation in 2014 with above mentioned qualification

Bilingual capability is MUST for both English and Chinese
