About the job:

• Develop new formulations for different personal care products utilizing in-depth knowledge of chemical ingredients and processes in accordance with GMP requirements and quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot new product formulas as well as continuous improvement of existing formulas and process improvement.
• Handle pilot trials, stability and compatibility study, defining product specification of new formulation. 
• Handle supplier qualification, write SOPs, prepare samples for performance tests.
• Set product specifications and manufacturing procedures.
• Support R&D activities in other dosage forms.

About the talent:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic and Personal Care Sciences or related field. A higher research degree is preferred.
• Formulation experience in the personal care industry is a must.
• At least 5 years of experience in bench formulation and manufacturing of liquid and semisolid topical products (Experience of scale up and process validation in GMP environment is a plus).
• Knowledge of cosmetic/personal care raw materials, ingredients, functionality, and interactions. 
• Understanding of emulsion and surfactant technology as well as general personal care products formulation techniques.
• Familiarity with PIC/S GMP is a definite advantage.
• Good team working, time management, communication and multiple project management skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
