End of Week Night Shift: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6:00pm-6:30am
 
What will you do?

• Performs operation, cleaning, set-up, and problem solving on high-speed computer controlled tablet presses.
• Disassembles, cleans, and re-assembles tablet presses, metal detectors, and tablet dedusters, using basic hand tools.
• Maintains accurate, neat, error free records such as BPR and logbook entries. Follows SOP's and GMPs.
• Monitors press operations for deviations, quality problems, or physical testing problems.
• Maintains neat work area and follows department safety rules.
• Identifies safety, quality, and efficiency improvements using the PET process.
• Performs duties in other work areas as required.
• Communicates and interacts effectively with all associates in a team environment.

 
How will you get here?
 
Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• 1-year pharmaceutical experience in compressing is desired.
• Previous compressing or encapsulation experience is desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are required.
• Must be able to handle totes up to 70 Kg. and lift containers up to 22 Kg. throughout shift.
• Job will require wearing of personal protective equipment including tyvek coveralls and various styles of respirators, including PAPR and half mask.
• Must be able to work overtime on non scheduled work days as business need requires overtime. =
• Job will require use of stand up fork lift and walkie stacker.
