Operate equipment used to manufacture products. Weigh, measure and check raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing. Keep accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in-process. Perform in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet specifications. Recognize equipment and product problems, notify supervisor and/or troubleshoot errors in order to achieve optimum production levels. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. A strong mechanical aptitude is beneficial in this position. Typical hours for this role is Monday-Thursday schedule from 7:00p - 7:00a.
