How will you make an impact?

Set-up, operate, and maintain the classified environments and manufacturing equipment for biotech and pharmaceutical products which require proficiency in cleaning and sterilizing equipment, gowning and aseptic techniques, preparing equipment and components for operations, operating and troubleshooting mechanical equipment, following approved procedures and proper documentation for compounding and filtration.

What will you do?

  • Manufacture biotech and pharmaceutical products in accordance to SOPs and cCMPs and other batch related activities.
  • Prepare equipment and components for operations.
  • Verify and document production activities in batch records, log books, etc.
  • Set-up and troubleshoot complex and critical mechanical equipment.
  • Train new employees.
  • Maintain/clean classified environments/areas.
  • Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and production areas.
  • Assist in initial and subsequent validation of equipment and processes.

How will you get here?

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical degree preferred.


Experience

  • 2 years of regulated manufacturing (Pharmaceutical preferred), mechanical or similar experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • General mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting (manufacturing equipment preferred)
  • Aseptic Cleaning
  • Equipment change part cleaning and sterilization
  • Component/commodity sterilization
  • Aseptic gowning/technique
  • Good documentation practices
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Ability and desire to learn
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams comprised of diverse individuals.
  • Ability to manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of 25-50 pounds; occasionally pushing and pulling 50-100+ pounds.
  • Full range of motion in upper and lower extremities.
