About the Group:
As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and a major provider of the US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P/L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement, and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

About the Role:
Intel Foundry Services is looking for a senior technical leader to drive the technical enablement of our foundry customers through early engagement, technology evaluation, and successful product design implementation. This role will partner seamlessly with the business development account manager to cultivate strong customer relationships, trust and devise winning strategies to achieve overall account-level business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish technical credibility, building trust and strong relationships with the customer
  • Ensure our customer successfully evaluates, adopts, and designs products with Intel process technology
  • Deep understanding of customer's specific technical requirements for each engagement opportunity
  • Communicate requirements and secure technical solutions to derive maximum value from Intel's technology
  • Document, plan and manage customer technical deliverables from initial evaluation thru productization
  • Lead technical engagement, coordinating all interfaces between Intel and the customer product team
  • Drive decisions with appropriate stakeholders, eliminate technical roadblocks, and resolve customer issues
  • Clearly present technical status to both internal and external senior management stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer experience across all interactions from initial assessment to final delivery
  • Ensure customer product achieves minimum time to market and maximum production quality and yield


Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field of study and 10+ years of relevant experience; Master's Degree in the above fields and 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Ph.D. in the above fields and 6+ years of relevant experience
Customer orientation and service mindset is essential in this key customer-facing role for IFS
This role will leverage a broad cross-domain technical background, some desired areas of expertise include:

  • Process technology
  • PDK based technology evaluation
  • ASIC, SOC and/or IP design
  • AMS and/or IP design
  • EDA tools, flows and methodologies
  • Fab/manufacturing services
  • Product/test engineering
  • Packaging technology

Highly organized, skilled interpersonal at communication and strong team player
Able to clearly synthesize complex information, lead in-depth technical discussions and deliver results
Proven leadership capabilities in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment
